We had last Friday the great opportunity to visit the development facilities of Mujin Corp., which produces high-end robot controllers with the latest technologies.
Mujin Corp. revolutionized the field by developing the world’s first “teachless” robot controller, using what is called "MujinMI" or machine intelligence. Mujin Corp. created the “MujinController,” which plays a central part in the company’s high-value automation system solutions.
Starting in the warehouse, helping logistics operations to address major long-term challenges finding and retaining labor.
With Mujin Corp. teachless technology, picking can be automatically started regardless of the loading condition and product.
Because when robots take on dirty, tedious or dangerous tasks, available labor can be deployed more effectively.
Mujin Corp. was created in 2011 in Tokyo and has currently expanded to the U.S. and Europe. It has received several awards for Technology and Innovation.
The visit was organized by the Karlsruher Institute of Technology (KIT) Alumni group in Japan and guided by one of it's members. It was followed by a get together at a nearby Okonomiyaki restaurant.
